OVERVIEWAssist in the supervision and labor for cap-ex projects, roll outs, and any construction maintenance service desk requests for existing Sheetz Store locations
RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)1. Provide direction for cap-ex, rollouts, service desk, and small projects for existing Sheetz Store locations.
2. Provide mentorship and direction to technicians and leads on site, building teams to facilitate and support leadership and desired outcomes.
3. Ensure and execute all safety regulations are followed per federal, state, local, and Sheetz requirements.
4. Participate in training recently hired technicians and leads, ensuring installation of construction equipment follows established guidelines and requirements.
5. Be able to read, write, and follow instructions, such as blueprints, floor plans, wiring diagrams.
6. Complete accurate paperwork, including work orders, labor hours, warranty cards, equipment transfers, new store checklist, DOT logs, post trip vehicle inspections forms, and weekly transaction logs for procurement cards.
7. Coordinate construction activities with local building officials and schedule all inspections with local authorities.
8. Drive the development of our crews through communication with outside vendors specific to company values, visions, & policies.
9. Plan, implement, and manage construction tasks in accordance with company priorities and goals; prepare and present progress of jobs and team members on a regular basis.
QUALIFICATIONS(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)
Education
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Technical/Trade/Sheetz training required
Experience
• Minimum 5 years commercial construction experience required
• Minimum 1 years construction supervision experience requiredLicenses/Certifications (Ability to attain required licenses within one year of acceptance).
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Valid DOT medical card required.
• EPA certifications – license I and II preferred.
• CPR/First Aid preferred.Tools & Equipment
• General Office Equipment
• Hand tools (hammer, measuring devices, wrench, level, etc.)
• Power Hand tools (saws, drill press, grinders, sanders, etc.)
• Pneumatic tools (compressor, nailer, stapler, jack hammer, etc.)
• Welding tools (torch, plasma cutter, welder, etc.)
• Landscaping tools (chain saw, leaf blower, weed eater, etc.)
• Motorized Equipment (generators, pressure washer, fork lift, etc.)
• Heavy Equipment: (Loader and attachments, lift, etc.)
• Tools related to construction and general industry
