What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Provide design of mechanical systems including HVAC, building automation, industrial ventilation, process piping, plumbing systems, and central utilities for 3M facilities and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence and develop project scope
- Develop and manage timelines and budgets for assigned projects
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and internal guidelines
- Oversee and guide the design work by consultants for assigned projects

What is Required (Qualifications):

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of experience in mechanical system design for industrial facilities and processes in a private, public, government, or military environment
- Registered as a Professional Engineer
- Proficient in project management skills, communication, and documentation
- Proficient in using electronic tools for design, documentation, and communication

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

- 7+ years of experience in mechanical system design for industrial facilities and processes, including HVAC, building automation systems, process piping, plumbing, and utility systems
