- Serves as an integral member of the OES team responsible for managing projects of varying size and complexity.
- Cultivates and nurtures client partnerships to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and leverage industry best practices. PM-client engagement is critical for each project to clarify specific requirements, define project scope and objectives, and ensure technical feasibility.
- Leverages team building and leadership experience to set the conditions for successful project execution. Devises teaming strategies in collaboration with federal program manager, builds proposals, project management plans, and adapts lessons learned to deliver high quality designs.
- Manages all implementation processes including progress tracking, financial reporting, monitoring change control process, quality control, configuration control and documentation, training, and status reports. Sets expectations and engages with design team as required to identify and/or mitigate risks during project delivery.
- Applies and adapts project management principles and company-specific policies to support culture of continuous improvement.
- Ability to lead one or more teams through all phases of project delivery.
- Strong time management, budgeting, and contract negotiation skills.
- Understands client expectations, proposal writing and basic accounting.
- Strong client interaction and relationship skills.
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation.

- Ability to check the work of others for accuracy and completeness and manages time to meet project budget and schedule.
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams; experience with scheduling software (Microsoft Project or Primavera), drawing review tools such as BlueBeam Revu and/or Procore.
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Field (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management)
- At least 12 years of experience in the field of architecture, engineering or construction; at least 5 years of experience with federal building projects
- Professional Engineer license, or
- Certified Construction Manager, or
- Project Management Professional certification
