Senior Finance Analyst (Cash & Treasury)

Location: Tachbrook Park - Warwick Salary: Up to £55,000 (plus benefits)

As a Senior Finance Analyst at Calor Gas, you'll be at the forefront of financial planning and forecasting. Your responsibilities will encompass treasury forecasting, risk management, and stakeholder relations, all aimed at optimising Calor's financial performance.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in Cash or Treasury roles.
• Professional qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Strong communication abilities to convey complex financial ideas effectively.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Influential decision-maker capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in financial analysis techniques, including Excel and financial modelling.

• Experience of working within a group reporting environment / structure.
• Capability to draft policies and establish KPI frameworks for adherence measurement.

What you will do:

• You'll take ownership of cash flow forecasting, from rolling short-term tactical forecasts to medium and long-term projections.
• Managing treasury functions, including FX exposure and liquidity, will be a critical part of your role.
• Lead the implementation of currency hedging strategies to align with commodity hedging and protect against foreign currency risks.
• Define and manage the credit management policy, ensuring it's effectively implemented and measurable through KPIs.
• Create a KPI framework and governance process for working capital, focusing on improvement initiatives, and raising awareness across the organization.
• Lead and advise on all Renew initiatives where working capital plays a role, aiming to enhance free cash flow.
• Build strong working relationships with financial teams, gathering key financial data for forecasts.
• Take charge of all key reporting and commentary related to currency and cash flow.
