What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor financial performance of contracts, including profitability analysis and budget variance
- Prepare and update forecasts, variance reports, and ad hoc financial reports
- Conduct regular meetings with clients and internal teams to review budgets and forecasts
- Manage invoicing processes and ensure timely processing of invoices
- Generate regulatory filings and reports, coordinating with Program Managers for approvals

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in developing and administering financial processes and reports
- Proficiency with financial accounting systems (e.g., Costpoint, Hyperion, SAP, Oracle)
- Experience with business intelligence software (e.g., Cognos, PowerBI, Alteryx, Python)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
- Familiarity with applications such as M365 and Google Suite

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Experience managing financials for consulting projects related to utilities or government entities
- Knowledge of writing macros or VBA in Excel
- Advanced analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools like Power BI
- Understanding of utility and energy efficiency programs and markets
