      Job Description:

      The Senior Financial Analyst, Business Support, will join the Global Expense Management (GEM) team, focusing on the Staff Support (SS) Finance organization. This team works closely with business partners to manage over $10B in annual expenses across various functions, including Risk and Compliance, Legal, Audit, Finance, Human Resources, Strategy/Enterprise Platforms, and the Chief Administration Office. The primary responsibilities include conducting account analysis, accrual generation, month-end estimation, and supporting partners to meet financial objectives through ad hoc analysis.

      This role provides exposure across the SS Finance functions and requires proficiency in month-end close processes, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives. Candidates will have the opportunity to work with emerging technologies to enhance and streamline financial tools and processes.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Conduct account analysis, accrual generation, and month-end estimations to support financial objectives.

      • Perform journal entries and reconciliations as part of standard month-end close procedures.

      • Collaborate with business finance officers (BFOs) and other finance teammates to deliver accurate quarterly forecasts and financial reports.

      • Provide headcount, salary, and benefits reporting to support internal expense tracking and forecasting.

      • Support ongoing process improvement and operational expense (OpEx) initiatives, including collaboration with special project teams to standardize processes across the group.

      • Leverage emerging technologies such as Workiva to drive enhancements in financial reporting and analysis processes.

      • Handle ad hoc requests to provide strategic insights for decision-making.

      Required Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (with advanced skills in macros, pivot tables, look-ups, and filtering), PowerPoint, and Access.

      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with senior management and partners.

      • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

      • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

      Desired Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

      • Experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

      • Prior experience with senior-level business partnering and stakeholder management.

      • Strong business acumen and a proactive approach to process improvement.

      • Familiarity with GEM and SS Finance processes and tools, including any relevant experience in financial systems and emerging technologies.
