You will be part of NOV’s business unit Subsea Production Systems (SPS) within our office in Rio de Janeiro downtown or based in our flexible pipe factory located on Açu Port, São João da Barra district near Campos dos Goytacazes city, north of Rio de Janeiro state.
NOV SPS consists of about 1500 colleagues based in Denmark, Brazil, Norway, the UK, and US, including production plants in Kalundborg, Denmark and Açu, Brazil.
You’ll be joining a business unit with approximately 40 different nationalities, with customers based all around the world.
A dynamic, collaborative, and international culture - good energy.
You will be part of our international Engineering department, based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where we work on several major flexible pipe projects at a time in a multi-disciplinary environment. You will take part in a range of tasks in the projects, where you can leverage your skills as engineer to succeed.
From project beginning, you are part of all stages of the project from design phase to factory support at our manufacturing facility in Açu, Brazil. During the project, you will interpret customer specifications to design a competitive solution, will have to strive with performing complex calculations and reports, and will be carrying on important duties to meet project schedules and milestones. To do so, and to help us win crucial projects, you will interact with colleagues across the whole organization – from other Engineering disciplines, Materials, Supply Chain, Project Management, Fabrication and Operations spread in NOV Flexibles offices to our factories, but also with the Brazilian and Rest of World customers where you discuss and challenge their assumptions – again, to create the best solution for all.
