      Senior Flow Compliance Manager

      Circa £58,000 + Cash for Cars Allowance

      Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours a week - hybrid working supported

      What will you be doing?

      As a member of the Environmental Science Team, you will be accountable for ensuring that we are compliant with our Flow Conditions in our environmental permits. You will lead a team of Flow Compliance Managers and you will promote and improve the awareness and performance of all aspects of Flow Compliance within Water and Water Recycling.

      Key duties include:

      • Working with the wider Anglian Water environmental community, providing leadership, collaborating with others to ensure flow compliance is maintained
      • Monitoring and reporting against volumetric, instantaneous and storm flow compliance
      • Constructing successful business plan submissions to ensure flow compliance is maintained and appropriate sites are included in investment plans
      • Monitoring and effectively responding to any changes in flow compliance legislation/EA policy
      • Ensure all required flow meters and devices meet the standards for MCERTS and we embed continuous improvement in the operational flow strategy
      • Influencing the National Agenda regarding Flow Compliance, delivering a favourable outcome for Anglian Water through membership of the MCERTS steering group and any relevant Task and Finish Groups.

      What does it take to be a Senior Flow Compliance Manager?

      • Ideally possess experience working within a process engineering environment or within a technical capacity
      • Broad knowledge of wastewater company business (incl. Regulation, Asset Management and WW Operations) is desirable
      • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills- strong ability to persuade, negotiate and influence others
      • Proven leadership experience- someone who can lead, coach and manager others effectively
      • Technical and strategic thinker- someone who can transform strategy into action as well as bring forth innovative ideas to resolve problems and drive improvements
      • Someone who can adapt, challenge and change to meet the requirements of the business
      • Capable of assessing risks and making significant decisions with at times incomplete information
      • Experience of presenting and leading industry forums and networking events would be advantageous
      • Full driving license
