Job Description

- Manage/coordinate flavor applications and associated technical support of diverse project initiatives across the beverage category and can directly support customers with finished product designs from concept to consumer.
- Excels in product formulation; develop beverage application bases and create new beverage concepts to showcase dsm-firmenich flavors, ingredients, technologies, and innovations
- Actively participate on technical selling team to develop strategic relationships and customer intimacy through ways like leading working sessions and technical to technical customer interactions.
- Project management: Manage briefs and champion required actions to meet project objectives, participate in work sessions with clients and deliver presentations in a technical capacity to clients as needed
- Leverage technical knowledge in terms of flavors, ingredients, formulations and processes relating to beverages, while establishing and maintaining a network of working relationships within the technical community
- Maintain knowledge of beverage client’s strategies, brands and products

- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or Masters in a related field preferred.
- 5 + years of experience in Beverage product development and Great Project Management skills.
- Great understanding of Thermal processing (pasteurization, HTST, UHT, and retort) and carbonation.
- Knowledge of G.M.P’s (Good Manufacturing Practices), FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) and H.A.C.C.P (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points).
- Great verbal and written communication skills. Good presentation skills including ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audience.
- Must have computer skills, i.e. MS Office, Outlook, Excel, SAP, and Nutritional labeling software.
