What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research available grants from federal, state, and local funding sources
- Track pending federal and state legislation to identify potential funding opportunities
- Develop grant proposals and low-interest loan applications, including project descriptions and cost-benefit analyses
- Conduct outreach to funding agency staff to discuss funding program details
- Coordinate requirements with contributors to procure necessary documentation for funding proposals

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, English, Journalism, Media, or related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in engineering, finance, grant writing, journalism, or prospect research
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a small team across multiple locations

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Funding experience with federal/state agencies related to water/wastewater/infrastructure
- Technical report and proposal writing experience
