Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
· You will be a key member of the BAE Systems Global Mobility management team supporting and delivering our strategic vision
· Taking responsibility of international programme standardisation opportunities and delivering these through to conclusion
· Undertaking broad and complex stakeholder management with senior business contacts, with great exposure to a wide range of international programmes and locations
· Developing employment propositions associated with new or expanding locations
· Undertaking specific projects in support of the Company’s Global Mobility strategic vision together with managing and co-ordinating the delivery of key operational processes and activities
· Partnering with HR Teams to support developing attraction strategies to ensure key resource can be mobilised in support of campaigns/programmes. Maintaining a strong focus on cost management and advising the business on the level of support to be provided to individuals
· Working collaboratively with key specialists to minimise risks to assignees and the business when considering all overseas projects and providing guidance to bid teams i.e., HR, corporate tax risk, personal tax risk, immigration, policy etc
· Supporting wider team members who provide bid support, business advisory, international assignments, international hires, permanent relocations and locally engaged employees
· Acting as the primary point of contact for advice and guidance for key stakeholders, acting as the ‘intelligent supplier’ and identifying opportunities for how the service and end to end processes can be made more efficient and effective
· You will also have people manager responsibilities in this role
· There may be some infrequent international travel required to support your international programmes
Your skills and experiences:
· Excellent working knowledge of Global Mobility / International Assignments
· In-house Global Mobility experience preferred
· Excellent understanding of Global Mobility policies and principles around personal tax, corporate tax, immigration, and employment law issues relating to Global Mobility
· Strong people management skills
· Experience in operational excellence and continuous improvement
· Good understanding of HR principles and practices
· Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to work under pressure
