What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop compliant cost models and effective pricing strategies for proposals
- Research and track competitor pricing and market trends, analyzing profitability impacts
- Collaborate with management to establish price-to-win goals and competitive rates
- Ensure final cost proposals comply with governmental regulations and organizational procedures
- Conduct competitive analysis to support pricing strategies and capture planning
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree and 6 - 8 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 4 - 6 years of experience
- Previous experience in pricing and proposal writing within a government contracting environment
- Knowledge of various contract types (e.g., FFP, T&M) and the Service Contract Act (SCA)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for developing and manipulating formulas
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced certifications such as Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)
- Experience with large multi-million dollar proposals
