What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create and support custom reports and dashboards in Power BI and MicroStrategy
- Develop and maintain SQL queries for data access, cleaning, and transformation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop user-friendly reports providing actionable insights
- Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends and patterns in health and pharmacy claims data
- Lead requirement-gathering conversations with stakeholders regarding specific reporting or custom projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a business, scientific, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a data analyst in a technology, healthcare, health insurance, or wellness environment
- Minimum five years of experience with SQL querying on any data platform
- Strong background in health and pharmacy claims data analysis
- Proven stakeholder management and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications in software development, data engineering, or cloud technologies
- Experience with Business Intelligence Tools, specifically MicroStrategy or Power BI
- Proficiency in Python scripting for data manipulation and automation tasks
- Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and/or Snowflake
- Strong record of accomplishment in delivery, process improvement, and data governance
