We are seeking a Senior Human Resource Generalist who will support the Turlock facility. This fast-paced, dynamic role will manage of on-boarding/off-boarding, benefits, payroll management, organizational changes, HRIS, employee relations, training, and compensation. As a key member of the Sensient team, you will be required to push boundaries and innovate onsite in the office, 5 days per week.

What you’ll do:

• Lead Benefits Administration and enrollment efficiently, utilizing deep knowledge of California employment law.
• Payroll management, exercising a high level of attention to detail and accuracy while performing all tasks.
• Build and maintain relationships with employees and colleagues in a professional and personable manner, adhering to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality on matters that require discretion.
• Analyze, and manage large amounts of data with the ability to create concise and easily understood summaries and reports.
• Demonstrate a high sense of urgency in responding to various requests regarding HR policies/procedures and employee/manager questions.

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of broad human resources experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Deep background in benefits management and experience working with California employment law.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English, accompanied by excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate skill level within Microsoft office, including vast experience with Power Point and Excel.
• Proficiency in communicating and adapting style to suit different audiences with ability to convey complex information in a clear manner.

About Sensient Natural Ingredients

Sensient Natural Ingredients is one of the largest producers and distributors in the world of dehydrated onion and garlic products as well as chili powder, paprika, chili pepper and dehydrated vegetables such as parsley, celery, and spinach. These ingredients are used in many of today's popular convenience foods. The Natural Ingredients unit is located in Turlock, California.

The salary range for this position is $86,250 - $143,750 USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions. In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families. This position is also eligible for performance-based incentive pay.

RELOCATION: We are unable to offer relocation assistance. The successful candidate will be expected to work at the Livingston, California facility and must reside in the area or be willing to commute.
