What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Advise senior-level stakeholders on information security initiatives, compliance, and training
- Lead Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) efforts on security authorization packages
- Leverage Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools to track and reconcile findings
- Assess and enhance the effectiveness of the information security and privacy training program
- Prepare briefings for the executive team on analyses, studies, and project progress

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field and 8 years of relevant experience; security certification can substitute for 2 years of experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
- In-depth knowledge of NIST 800-53 Rev 4 security controls and NIST 800-37 Risk Management Framework
- Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance tools (e.g., Xacta, RSA Archer)
- Strong data analysis, written, and verbal communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced level cybersecurity certification (e.g., CompTIA CISM, ISC2 CISSP)
- Knowledge of NIST 800-53 Rev 5 security controls
