Shape and implement experience strategy for the product area
Having a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points and expectations
Understand goals and challenges in the context of business and engineering priorities
Work with service designers to influence and develop the roadmap and overall product strategy
Engage with leadership to understand objectives and opportunities aligned to good customer outcomes
Provide leadership to a team of multi-disciplinary designers to support decision-making, delivery and team culture
Establish a growth culture and build capabilities through the formal development and mentoring of team members
Extensive and demonstrable experience within User Experience design/Interaction Design
Experience leading teams
Strong stakeholder negation skills

JOB TITLE: Senior Interaction Designer
SALARY: £73,000 - £86,000
LOCATION: Manchester
HOURS: Full-Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Manchester office.
About the opportunity
We’re looking for someone to lead and work as part of a design team supporting a core product area within Experience Design. This role will specifically support, the Colleague Channel Platform, which is responsible for the capabilities specific to Branch, Contact Centres and Operations required to service customer needs. Your role will involve working collaboratively with the platform team that provides Group Services on key applications for Consumer Relationships, Consumer Lending and CIB.
You'll provide guidance to stakeholders, development teams and other Interaction Designers, working alongside and leading a design team. You'll will take full ownership of their output, providing rationale for design decisions and confidently present their work back to stakeholders.
