In this critical, permanent role within the Strategic Investment Solutions (SIS) team, you’ll be report to the Senior Business Manager – Front Office.

You’ll be integral in ensuring that SAM UK’s investment business operates within a framework to achieve its performance objectives and client outcomes.

You’ll oversee the ongoing monitoring and analysis of portfolio and portfolio manager’s performance report the outcomes to relevant governance forums.

• Day-to-day responsibility for the ongoing monitoring and analysis of several portfolios and portfolio managers’ performance
• Overseeing the completion of initial and ongoing due diligence and reporting outcomes to relevant governance forums
• Ensuring portfolios are positioned in line with investment guidelines and regulations
• Supporting the production and delivery of client reporting in line with reporting timetable, ensuring sufficient time for internal review processes
• Creating and the ongoing production of relevant team MI including KPIs and KRIs
• Working closely with and developing excellent relationships with internal teams including Portfolio Managers, Risk, Compliance and Product
• Drafting, documenting, and maintaining team procedures and policies and ensure that all team related outputs are filed in a logical manner and retained in line with regulatory record keeping requirements

What you’ll bring.

• Proven experience in evaluating and monitoring third party managers and portfolios and portfolio construction
• Excellent understanding of investment markets, asset classes, and investment strategies, both single and multi-asset

It would also be nice for you to have.

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power BI) and programming languages (VBA, Python).
• Familiarity with systems such as Aladdin (or other Risk/Performance/Investment Management systems)
• Ability to quickly form effective working relationships including with colleagues in overseas offices
• A willing attitude and an ability and commitment to learning new skills and providing a high standard of support to the team

This role is based in our London and our current expectation is at least 2 days in the office every week.
