What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Independently review and monitor research submissions for compliance with regulations and policies
- Advise investigators on meeting review requirements for complex research submissions
- Develop and conduct training programs on ethical conduct in human subjects research
- Collaborate with IRB associate directors to manage workflow and set team targets
- Participate in business process improvement initiatives and educational outreach activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, particularly in IRB operations
- Strong knowledge of regulations governing human subjects research
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and ability to work in a regulatory environment
- Successful completion of a criminal background check
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 4-8 years of human subjects regulatory experience or relevant work experience
- Certified IRB Professional certification
- Experience with research methodologies and project management
