      About the role

      We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to lead the Application architecture and Infrastructure landscape redesign projects in our global digital transformation program, the SM4RT. The goal of SM4RT program is to undertake the greenfield SAP S/4HANA system implementation with related 3rd party systems in 43 companies of the Group. The programme is currently running preparatory projects, 2 of which are examining the AsIs and the target architecture, infrastructure and related licensing portfolio. The scope of these projects is the planning only, the implementations will be undertaken in the follow up projects.

      The Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for delivery of the designated projects and will report to the IT Head of Innovation and Engineering Unit as well as to the Program director on progress and performance.

      The Senior IT Project Manager will be part of the SM4RT senior program management team and in this capacity he/she will be also be consulted in other SM4RT program level decisions. This is a multiple year program with many IT projects ahead.

      A successful Senior IT Project Manager must have previous hands on experience in different roles in complex, international, IT architecture and infrastructure consolidation programs, demonstrated leadership skills to build up and motivate a project team and an ability to see both the big picture as well as the details if needed.

      This job is hybrid, a combination of home office and regular onsite presence in the company’s HQ in Budapest.

      Your tasks

      • Successfully complete the design of a group-wide WouldBe architecture for SAP S/4HANA and related systems in collaboration with HQ, subsidiary specialists and vendors
      • Driving the inhouse alignment process to come to an agreement on all terms of the projects (approval of Project Foundation Document including goals, scope, out of scope, KPIs, methodology, resource needs, project organisation and governance, roadmap, risks, etc.)
      • Management of the projects as per PDF and per SM4RT Program Management governance
      • Ensuring alignment between the projects and the company’s global Platform Strategy
      • Maintaining contact with and managing internal business areas as well as external partners
      • Status and progress reporting, continuous updating of planning
      • Preparation of operational and strategic decision proposal based on business cases and conducting the Project Steering Committee meetings

      Your educational attainment

      • Master’s degree is a must, in IT and/or in Economics degree
      • Proficiency in English
      • Strong knowledge of various Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

      Your experience

      • 15+ years in various IT positions or business transformation projects in a multinational group environment
      • 5+ years senior IT line management or enterprise architect experience or expert project management experience in application architecture and infrastructure landscape improvement / redesign projects including both the planning and implementation phase
      • Proven track record in driving RfI and RfP / contracting / managing vendors
      • Leadership skills and strategical mindset
      • Outstanding problem solving, communication, cooperation and presentation skills
      • High level of commitment, initiative, flexibility and openness to innovations
      • Excellent time management and organizational skills
      • Motivating, demanding and encouraging leadership style for project team
