Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Minimum Required Qualifications for Consideration
Bachelor Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Solid of development experience in Java 8 (or above) or similar language (C#)
Good experience in automating Cloud-based applications and services
Experience with Multi-cloud solutions - Azure, Google, Amazon
Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery
Experience with one or more of the following: AWS Cloud Formation, Kubernetes (K8S), TerraForm, Ansible, Jenkins, Chef, ADO, and Puppet
Solid experience in Java 8 or above
Good of experience developing infrastructure as code
Experience working on agile teams to deliver software iteratively
Experience with Atlassian tools like Confluence and JIRA
Experience with designing and architecting applications
Experience with Linux, containerization and container orchestration like Kubernetes
Experience with logging, metrics and monitoring tools like DataDog and Splunk
Experience with the fuel business and transaction processing
About the Team/Role
Pluto develops and maintains the Payment API (PAPI), a crucial service for seamless and secure payment processing. The new PAPI implementation is built with Java and the Spring framework, following a microservice architecture for scalability and performance. The Java Developer role is a senior position focused on designing, developing, and enhancing PAPI. Candidates are expected to write clean, efficient code and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and DevOps, to meet business and technical standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring, and microservices, along with mentoring skills for junior engineers.
