What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain the JavaScript Virtual Machine for web applications
- Diagnose and resolve performance, stability, and compatibility issues
- Implement new language features and support JavaScript clients
- Work on all aspects of the compilation pipeline, including parsing and optimization
- Manage the language runtime and garbage collection processes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of relevant experience in software engineering
- Detailed knowledge of C and C++
- Excellent debugging and critical thinking skills
- Experience with compilers, parsers, and runtime systems
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of Operating System internals
- Familiarity with the JavaScript and WebAssembly languages
- Experience with embedded software security best practices
- Background in working with Garbage Collectors
- Experience in open source software development
