What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage Family Medical, State Mandated Leave, and Personal Leave cases in collaboration with a third-party vendor
- Oversee worker's compensation administration, including reporting injuries and investigating claims as needed
- Ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and facilitate the interactive process for accommodations
- Participate in developing and presenting leave of absence training sessions for management and staff
- Maintain regulatory reports such as OSHA 101 and OSHA 300 logs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience
- 4-7 years of progressive and relevant HR experience in benefits, workers compensation, and ADA
- Minimum of 4+ years of leave of absence administration experience preferred
- Knowledge of employee benefit and leave laws (FMLA, ADA, workers compensation, MAPFML, NY DBL/PFL)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

- Strong interpersonal skills and meticulous record-keeping abilities
