What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and file lobbying and campaign finance registrations and reports for various jurisdictions
- Utilize company databases to gather data for compliance filings related to political contributions and lobbying
- Provide legal support for AltriaPAC, including reviewing communications and drafting reports
- Assist with internal and external political law training programs
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals on relevant compliance matters
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years' experience in a law firm or corporate environment
- At least one year of experience in political law as a political reports analyst or similar position
- Strong familiarity with corporate political law compliance and government
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated experience in filing lobbying and campaign finance reports in multiple jurisdictions
- Legislative experience is highly desirable
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels within and outside the company
- Experience with compliance systems and tools
