- Translate business needs into innovative solutions – Work closely with our business teams and other key business partners to create a product vision, understand and help identify business value, understand required use cases and capabilities, and translate these into product requirements. Product managers play a critical role in creating alignment between engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Manage the entire product life cycle from sunsetting legacy products to prototyping and testing new features/products and ideas.
- Think Minimum Viable Product, coupled with continuous improvement, Think Consumer and Digital First, focus on Insights and KPI’s driven approach – CSAT, NPS and other Customer Satisfaction Goals.
- Create Epics, Features, and Stories for current and future products based on the consumer insights, research, business goals and Customer Experience (CX) needs.
- Acts as the product owner for business solutions; understands product, business, and competitive landscape.
- Using research to get ideas for products that customers will want / meet business goals
- Helping to oversee the design and development and planning how to market and promote the product to the consumers/clients.
- Support overall Digital Strategy, MarTech, Scaled Agile, Hybrid Processes, manage stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent collaboration & communication skills, team building and coaching skills – leading as well as ability to roll up sleeves and get into the details when necessary.
- Excellent understanding of Requirements Gathering; Epics, Features, Stories. Independently write requirements from brainstorming sessions
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to coordinate analytics team for product reporting.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, set roadmaps, work on team building and hiring the right skills.
- Demonstrated successful experience in managing aggressive timelines and leading teams
- Good problem-solving skills with tenacious follow up on outstanding issues
- Experience with Customer Journeys, Market Research, MVP Approaches
- Basic understanding of technical concepts like APIs, Open Source, CMS, App Stores
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, economics, or any related field
- 5-6 years of relevant experience with Product Management principles, Agile and Waterfall models.
- Experience navigating complex organizations
- Experience analyzing complex problems and opportunities
- 6+ years of experience with product management skills such as roadmaps, driving deliverables, partnering with Key Stakeholders, strong technical knowledge of products and systems.
- 3+ years of digital or operational experience within the healthcare, pharmacy, or ecommerce industry.
- Familiarity with agile processes, such as scrum, Kanban, and/or the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

What We Need
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Digital Solutions team to focus on our BCBSMA Member Website and Mobile App. This role is responsible for delivering various digital capabilities using product management methodologies including market research, data analysis, and collaboration with design, while maintaining a member-focused approach. The Product Manager is expected to work closely with cross-functional teams, support day-to-day product management of key features on the Member website and mobile app, gather detailed business requirements (epics & user stories), attend scrum, prioritize the backlog, complete user acceptance testing, and post-production operations management.

Full time Salary Range: $129,780.00 - $158,620.00The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
This job is also eligible for variable pay.
