      Job Summary:

      Reporting to the Vice President of HR, the Sr. Manager, HR Business Partner will be tasked with implementing human capital solutions to solve business challenges within and across CenExel’s network of research sites. Critical competencies include a consultative mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to diagnose business needs and formulate strategies to support business objectives. The Sr. Manager, HR Business Partner will lead, train, and mentor HRBP’s, empowering them to function as strong business partners. This is a remote position that may be located anywhere in the contiguous U.S.

      Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

      • Cultivate trusted partnerships with site leaders to develop and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly support and enable business objectives.
      • Be closely connected to CenExel network of sites to monitor and assess the level of HR impact and influence.
      • Engrains a process improvement mindset in the culture and utilizes multiple levers to improve work relationships and increase productivity and retention.
      • Adept at measuring and monitoring key HR metrics / dashboards.
      • Accountable for organizational development and effectiveness for assigned business units (sites).
      • Translate business strategies and objectives into the appropriate HR agenda, initiatives, and actions – and garner support/ownership for that agenda.
      • Actively participate as a strategic leader and member of the senior HR leadership team.
      • Ability to tactfully influence senior site leadership regarding key business strategies, as appropriate.
      • Lead and assist in the development and planning of site-level change/transformation initiatives.
      • Provide employee relations expertise to site leaders ensuring compliance with company practices.
      • Ensure comprehensive development and succession plans are in place for key positions across network of sites.
      • In coordination with the Talent Acquisition team, develop talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
      • Support and promote site level employee engagement initiatives through collaboration with HR and site leaders.
      • Advice and supports site leaders in the execution of employment practices ensuring an appropriate balance between business requirements, ethical issues and employment laws.
      • Role models effective oral and written communication leadership abilities

      Qualifications:

      • Requires a college degree or equivalent experience.
      • SCP or SPHR certification preferred.
      • Demonstrated ability to effectively connect business and people strategies.
      • Problem solving mindset
      • Strong analytical and data analysis skills are a must.
      • 6+ years’ prior experience implementing change management initiatives.
      • Strong leadership capabilities to champion important issues and to work collaboratively with business and HR partners.
      • Proven ability to lead, coach, and consult with business leaders in shaping the workforce to meet business goals.
      • Minimum of 3 years prior experience in a senior HRBP role or comparable role that included managing a team of HRBP’s.
      • Organized, detail-oriented and data driven.
      • Ability to work within and across a geographically dispersed company.
      • Frequent extended travel up to 75% is required.

      2. Essential physical requirements include sitting, typing, standing, and walking.
      3. Lightly active position, occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
      4. Reporting to work, as scheduled, is essential.
      5. Ability to travel frequently.
      6. Remote work arrangement.
