You will report into the Sr. Director, DTC Delivery & Network Transportation.
You will develop transportation strategies to support the delivery of products to retail stores in the US and Canada, aligning with our goals.
Manage day-to-day transportation operations, including carrier selection, contract negotiations, and service-level agreements to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Drive cost savings initiatives through continuous evaluation of transportation processes, routing, and carrier performance while maintaining high service standards.
Collaborate with transportation providers and third-party logistics partners to optimize routes, reduce transit times, and improve on-time delivery performance.
Work closely with the distribution centers, store operations, and planning teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations and timely deliveries to stores.
Lead efforts to improve the sustainability of transportation operations, focusing on reducing carbon emissions, fuel efficiency, and incorporating eco-friendly practices.
Analyze transportation data and KPIs to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Provide regular performance reports to leadership, including cost analysis, delivery metrics, and carrier performance.
Develop, lead and complete direct cross-functional operational projects that encompass productivity and process improvements, including cartonization and shipment consolidation.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial transportation regulations in the US and Canada. Manage risks related to transportation safety and security.
Experience in reverse logistics is preferred but not required. This includes managing the entire process from the consumer's initiation of a pickup request to the processing and recommerce of goods back through distribution channels.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field; MBA preferred.
7+ years of experience in transportation management, preferably within retail or consumer goods.
Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and create analyses based on data.
Specific experience in parcel direct-to-consumer, LTL, and other last-mile delivery modes for both consumer and wholesale on-demand transit.
Knowledge of transportation regulations in the US and Canada.
Proven track record of cost management and process optimization in transportation operations.
Experience in ecommerce omni-channel order fulfillment processing.
Experience using transportation management systems (TMS) and data analysis tools.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence at all levels of the organization.

About the Job
About You
This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs. Exceptional remote candidates will be considered.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $116,300- $175,900 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
