- Plan out the content development timeline in support of the overall marketing strategy and business needs
- Oversee the development of white papers, case studies, blog articles and external articles, and contribute to webinar planning and webinar content development
- Write copy or manage external writing resources as needed in order to generate white papers, case studies, blog articles, etc.
- Work with the internal design team to review and approve content layout and designs – ensuring that content such as white papers and webinar slides look polished and that selected design and imagery are relevant to the content
- Collaborate with internal (and potentially external) SMEs to plan out content topics, outlines, and to provide content reviews, ensuring scientific accuracy of content
- Regularly meet with BD team leaders to gather their input on most needed sales support content (such as new case studies) and incorporate those needs into the overall content development
- Track key conference submission deadlines and provide reminders with suggestions for submissions to those conferences
- Maintain both an internal and external-facing scientific content repository
- Train BD teams on new content as needed
- Ensure consistently high quality standards are maintained with regards to content
- BA/BS degree in life sciences
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience working in life sciences or relevant experience developing scientific content or as a copywriter, or PhD in life sciences plus 4+ years of experience working in life sciences
- Ability to translate scientific information into effective verbal and visual practical communication
- Audience-focused; able to tailor tone of content to intended audience
- Results oriented, accurate, and analytical
- Knowledge of the drug development process and clinical development, especially for biomarker-driven development programs.
- Ability to plan out content timelines and manage multiple projects at once to hit those timelines
- Proven capability to research and then write relevant content in areas with minimal existing expertise.
- Capability to self-manage and work independently and remotely, while also able to work within and across department collaboratively
- Willingness to work with a team across multiple time zones (US and Europe)
- Must be able to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the English language
- Masters Degree or PhD in life science
- Knowledge of instruments and assays relevant to any of genomics, flow cytometry, bioanalysis, and immunohistochemistry
Position Summary:
The Senior Manager Scientific Content will lead development of scientific marketing content for Precision for Medicine Translational Sciences including but not limited to scientific white papers, articles, case studies, and will support development of content for conference talks and webinars. The focus of this content will be on science related to Precision for Medicine’s services in support of preclinical and clinical development including genomics and molecular assays, tissue and liquid biopsy analysis, immune monitoring technologies, cytokine analysis and proteomics, etc.

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
