      This position is responsible for the internal and external financial reporting function of the company to ensure timely and reliable financial reporting and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. They must have experience and a track record of demonstrated process improvement. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and a willingness to be hands on in both the day to day and monthly close process. This is an individual contributor role.
      Responsibilities:
      • Main person responsible for the preparation of external financial statements, footnotes and MD&A for SEC reports including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and more, in compliance with GAAP and SEC rules and regulations;
      • Ensuring accurate and timely filing of all required SEC financial statements and other SEC filings, including close coordination with several different internal and external teams, as necessary;
      • Support the preparation of quarterly and annual earnings releases, investor decks, Audit Committee materials and other internal and external communications as appropriate;
      • Responsible for the creation of the detailed tie-outs of financial statements as well as internal and external presentations used for investor conferences, among others;
      • Preparation of other financial statements for various reporting obligations which could include among other: standalone financial statements for international subsidiaries, statutory audit reports, etc;
      • Support the work relevant to external audits, including the integrated audit of financial statements;
      • Own the preparation of monthly and quarterly internal reporting packages, including the cash flow statements;
      • Driving process improvements and innovations within the department as well as within the organization;
      • Other ad-hoc requests as necessary.
      Requirements:
      • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance;
      • 8+ years’ experience in a financial reporting role – combination of public accounting and industry experience preferred;
      • Active CPA preferred;
      • Experience in an SOX environment and controls, required;
      • Experience with change management and competing priorities;
      • Outstanding analytical, organizational, project/process management skills;
      • Experience in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment;
      • Prior success implementing accounting process improvements and upgrading systems;
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - demonstrated ability to successfully partner with peers, subordinates, other departments and executive management;
      Location: This role will be located at Inspirato headquarters, located at: 1544 Wazee St, Denver, CO 80202. At Inspirato we value collaboration and flexibility; we offer a hybrid work environment where we allow our employees to work remotely two days a week.
      Compensation
      Manager - $92,000 - $129,000 Base Salary
      Senior Manager - $118,000- $150,000 Base Salary
      We believe in building a compensation structure that reflects the comparable market pay rate for positions at companies similar in size, revenue generation and geographic location; in addition to individual factors including seniority, performance-based merit, education/training and experience related to scope of responsibilities.
      Equity - This position is eligible for the company's equity plan.
