- Supporting and improving top level metrics in the supply chain and help in the development of the supporting metrics that drive the top level goals.
- Create the master production schedules to support customer service and inventory turns goals. Coordinate production changes with Materials and Manufacturing personnel.
- Maintain and control SAP master data for Planning/Scheduling functions.
- Participate with Materials, Accounting and Manufacturing management in developing the annual Financial Plan.
- Assist in the coordination of production start-up of new products with Engineering, Manufacturing Support, Production Schedulers, Manufacturing sites, Marketing, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management.
- Drive KOS and lean pull initiatives through participation and training throughout the entire Supply Chain.
- Support Strategic Deployment initiatives through root cause analysis, GAP charting and corrective action plans.
- Continue with self development and development of the Production Schedulers through training programs, seminars, sharing of best practices and self study.
- Assist in the coordination of inventory initiatives with Warehouse Management.
- Participate in the updating of the Global Capacity analysis to insure current capacity utilization is reflected.
- Ensure applicable product compliance requirements are upheld including but not limited to the Clean Air Act, California Code of Regulation and California Health and Safety Code.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in master scheduling, demand planning or production planning preferred.
- Previous experience with SAP or similar ERP tools is a plus.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management and staff personnel.
Senior Master Scheduler
Work Mode: Remote
Location: Remote, with 15-20% annual travel expectation (US domestic locations) .
Opportunity
Develop, maintain, analyze and coordinate the master production schedule for production. Drive process improvements for the supply chain organization and develop specific performance measurements required to monitor and exceed supply chain short and long term goals.
