Mazzetti is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in a project leadership and business building capacity. This role combines technical expertise in mechanical engineering, people and project leadership, and a strategic mindset focused on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to deliver high-quality engineering services and grow business in the Pacific Northwest. This role is a springboard to potential leadership and growth opportunities, including co-leading Mazzetti’s Seattle office and other local and national leadership roles.

Work Location: This is a hybrid position based in Seattle. The candidate will be required to be onsite in Seattle for occasional specific project requirements, but the majority of the work can be done remotely from home in the Seattle area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering business development efforts in the Pacific Northwest by interfacing with clients, bringing in new project work, and contributing to the growth of Mazzetti’s healthcare and life sciences sectors.
• Plan, organize, and lead mechanical engineering projects in accordance with project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
• Oversee the technical work of project teams, collaborate on mechanical designs, and coordinate work within the Mazzetti team to successfully deliver projects from conception to execution.
