      Job summary

      We are looking for motivated and experienced individuals who have a passion for working with young people and families to join our EmeraldLodge Team as a Senior Health Care Support Worker. You will as assist registered Nurses in meeting the identified needs of children, young people and families.

      Emerald Lodge is an inpatient unit catering for young people aged up to the age of 14 who are experiencing mental health, emotional and behavioural difficulties. We aim to make sure that every young person can maximise their potential for learning and independence, social inclusion and to enjoy a safe, happy family life.

      Main duties of the job

      Our team is multi-disciplinary and comprises of medics, nurses, health care support workers, psychologists, therapists, teachers, admin and support services who are committed to continued development and providing high quality care for young people and families. We offer assessment, collaborative care and treatment to help young people experiencing mental health difficulties including; low mood, anxiety, psychosis, eating difficulties, autistic spectrum conditions, young people who pose a risk to themselves, or where there is diagnostic uncertainty.
