What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain metadata across multiple systems
- Analyze and propose solutions for metadata issues and manage the completion of necessary changes
- Prepare detailed reports of metadata using Microsoft Excel and automate processes where applicable
- Develop complex mappings between metadata and database systems and ensure compliance with clinical data standards
- Maintain documentation related to metadata analysis and assist in the development of common data elements

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in informatics, biology, computer science, nursing, public health, or a related healthcare field
- Minimum of five years’ experience in informatics, healthcare, or biology, preferably in a Clinical Data Management or similar role
- Proven analytical experience in analyzing biological metadata
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience querying relational databases
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Knowledge Management Systems such as Symedical® or similar tools
- Familiarity with CDISC, FHIR, and other clinical data standards
- Knowledge of SNOMED-CT, LOINC, ICD, and other clinical vocabularies
- Experience developing ISO 11179 compliant data standards
- Demonstrated technological curiosity and experience in metadata analysis
