Job Description

- Assist in the design and delivery of all network operations technology including LAN/WAN, Datacenter, Network Security and Network Monitoring
- Manage inventory, documentation, and knowledge management for each networking component within the environment
- Schedule and plan lifecycle management of all firm network hardware and software to ensure that we maintain support agreement coverage as well as stay ahead of any critical path engineering issues
- Recommend and manage network improvements, updates, upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance
- Review incoming service requests as they relate to issues reported by users in order to identify any risks or enhancements that can be made to improve performance and design
- Support network operations during off hours when required
- Train and mentor staff in administering network based applications as necessary to assist with common tasks
- Special projects and other duties as assigned

- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in a virtual environment (e.g., via phone, web/videoconference)
- Ability to concentrate on tasks, make decisions and work calmly and effectively in a high-pressure, deadline-orientated environment

- Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in a Network Engineer Role
- Knowledgeable in Cisco devices and relevant systems and protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities
- Documentation, track, manage, report, and communicate to various levels within the organization
- Strong technical aptitude to understand the entire voice stack and peripheral applications
