      We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Network NAC Engineer .

      POSITION SUMMARY

      The Senior Network NAC Engineer provides project and operational support for Ardent’s NAC services. These services maintain security for wireless and wired infrastructure. This encompasses maintaining and updating profile documentation, NAC design documents, conducting monitoring of the NAC platforms, and NAC work related to projects. This position will work closely with other members of the Ardent technology team to support the overall mission of the company and its’ strategic business initiatives.


      Responsibilities

      • Troubleshoot existing NAC platform
      • Deploy NAC to new locations and markets
      • Configuration of Cisco switching platforms, 3750x, 2960x, 3850x, Nexus 9k
      • Collaborate with other teams to deploy native and third party supplicants
      • Deploy ISE OVAs in VMware environment
      • Contribute to network engineering planning sessions
      • Maintain accurate design documentation of NAC infrastructure
      • Review vendor road-maps and understand new capabilities of NAC platforms
      • Work with security team to mitigate active threats
      • Provide status updates, requirements, and recommendations regarding NAC platforms
      • Mentor less experienced engineers on NAC concepts and troubleshooting

      Qualifications

      Education & Experience

      • Associates’ degree in Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent experience
      • 6+ years of experience working in Information Systems
      • 4+ years of experience operating Cisco ISE
      • 4+ years of experience operating NAC solution from major network vendor
      • Minimum of 1 year experience working with Linux
      • Experience designing Cisco ISE / NAC deployments for large enterprises
      • Experience troubleshooting and configuring LAN Infrastructures, STP, SD-Access, PVST, Ether-channel/Port Channel configuration, Dot1.Q Trunking, VTP
      • Experience designing IP Schemes
      • Experience troubleshooting 802.11 wireless issues
      • Experience troubleshooting client and network issues
      • Completion of Cisco 300-715 SISE exam preferred
      • Completion of Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) preferred
      • Experience in healthcare industry preferred

      • Must demonstrate strong ownership of responsibilities
      • Excellent documentation and communication skills
      • Proficiency with Visio and Office applications
      • Excellent customer service skills
      • Ability to multitask between strategic tasks while resolving operational problems
      • Travel required 5%
