      Main duties of the job

      Key Responsibilities

      • Lead, mentor, and support a team of patient services representatives covering prescription processing, referrals, Quality and Outcomes framework administration, processing clinical correspondence and Non-NHS work.
      • Ensure exceptional service delivery at all patient touchpoints
      • Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements
      • Handle escalated patient concerns with professionalism and care
      • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to streamline processes
      • Work closely with the Reception Manager to ensure effective communication and co-operation across the teams
      • Contribute to training and onboarding of new staff
      • Conduct appraisals and reviews and follow up on any performance concerns in line with practice processes.

The Patient Services Team Lead collaborates with the wider surgery team to maintain efficient workflows and ensure adequate staffing levels.
