Main duties of the job

As the Senior People Business Partner you will undertake a complex employee relations advisory role, working in partnership with leaders to deliver and implement effective solutions with the employee at the heart. You will have significant generalist HR expertise with experience of liaison with Trade Unions and legal services, particularly through organisational change. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a history of delivering high impact through HR policies and processes, and significant experience of developing and supporting line managers through transition periods.
It is essential that you are able to manage sensitive matters with compassion and empathy, have a flexible yet outcome-focused approach, and the ability to work collaboratively with your own team and others. The Senior People Business Partner will be play a pivotal role in supporting the Associate Director of People and Corporate Affairs to deliver on the ICB People agenda, deputising where required and have responsibility for the proactive line management of the team.
