      Te Pae Tawhiti – Our Future is about MSD’s future role and how we can make a bigger and better difference for New Zealanders.

      Te Pae Tawhiti Programme is a once in a generation, multi-year transformation, which aims to ensure MSD has the capability to serve New Zealanders now and for decades to come.

      Service Experience is the key implementation arm of this transformation. Through Service Experience we will implement the technology, processes and tools needed to land both our Future Service Model and Client Engagement Practice, while also transforming the way the Ministry delivers its core products and services for clients, staff, and partners.

      Service Experience is a large and complex programme of work. We are in the process of starting to build our new systems, with an initial focus on enabling a digital employment service. The Senior Process Analyst will work alongside the Process Lead and Process Analysts. You will be focused on designing end to end processes that align with our future state operating model, ensuring processes are cohesive across all business levels, bring a business wide view of how processes interact, ensuring the design supports both user experience and operational efficiency, and supporting junior team members with capability uplift in process design.

      You’ll need to understand how processes will flow through and be enabled technology, and the importance of producing outputs that are directly usable for configuration, integration, and workflow build.

      You will need:

      We are looking for Senior Process Analysts with experience in developing end-to-end future state process maps within large scale programmes in the public sector.

      You’ll need the ability to see the big picture while also being comfortable diving into the detail. You’ll have strong relationship building skills, and be comfortable working in fast paced environments.

      In Service Experience, we’ll be delivering significant technology, process, and people change. You’ll bring a collaborative approach to ensure dependencies and connections with other workstreams are understood and managed effectively.

      This is a once in a generation opportunity to change the way we deliver our services, and to have a significant impact on the lives of New Zealanders.
      You will be instrumental in developing and implementing a new service experience for MSD.


      We are looking for candidates who will bring:

      Proven leadership experience in business process management.
      • Strong business process management skills, including workshop facilitation, process design, and process mapping
      • Strong understanding of industry-standard process mapping notation (preferably BPMN 2.0)
      • Understanding of business rules and their traceability and connection to business processes
      • Excellent relationship management skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse teams
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Analytical ability to optimise processes and apply customer experience principles
      • Proven experience in process analysis, training, and documentation
      • Experience with Visio and other process tools is advantageous but not essential

      Position Description

      Salary range: $102,533.00 - $124,402.00
