What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Complete Medicare and Medicaid cost report submissions and manage related desk reviews and audits for multiple facilities
- Provide independent hospital reimbursement consulting services to corporate business offices and hospital executive staff
- Oversee and develop reimbursement aspects of Medicare alternate payment methodologies, including bundled payments
- Manage quality-based payment methodologies for acute care hospitals, focusing on programs like Value-Based Purchasing and Excess Readmissions
- Participate in the oversight and maintenance of Medicaid supplemental payment programs for assigned facilities

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Medicare cost reporting and concepts
- Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare prospective payment systems and related regulations
- Thorough understanding of Medicaid supplemental payment concepts and state-directed payments
- Intermediate-to-Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in HFS cost report software or its equivalent

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with McKesson G/L and Siemens Invision
- Specific knowledge of Graduate Medicare Education (GME) and Indirect Medical Education (IME) reimbursement
- Understanding of quality-based Medicare reimbursement concepts
