What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and manage large construction projects in accordance with district policies and procedures
- Resolve complex issues, disputes, and disagreements related to construction projects
- Monitor the performance of assigned construction teams and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets
- Review and assess the impact of change orders and manage fiscal responsibilities for multiple projects
- Coordinate program activities with various organizational branches and departments

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
- 17 years of full-time paid professional project/construction management experience
- 5 years of experience managing large programs with projects valued over $60 million
- 5 years of experience in educational facility construction, public works, or large commercial projects
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential may be substituted for the required education

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience or education in business administration, public relations, accounting, finance, personnel management, and communication
- Design Build experience
- Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Familiarity with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects
- Experience with the Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes
