      Job Responsibilities

      Summary

      Under the direction of a Portfolio Manager, the Sr Project Manager is responsible for the management of multiple projects or a large multi-country (North America region) project.

      Directs Project Managers in monitoring cost, schedule, and technical performance of projects and operations, while working to ensure profitability and financial targets.

      The Sr Project Manager manages one or more project teams consisting of cross-functional team members, defining and communicating clear project deliverables and performance targets; managing all aspects of customer relationships and satisfaction.

      The Sr Project Manager is responsible for assuring quality, profitability and timing of the project.

      Duties and Responsibilities

      • Accountable for profitability, timing, and quality of multiple related projects.
      • Scope management: direct Project Managers in building the project Work Breakdown Structure.
      • Change management: work with Engineering for the develop of Engineering Changes (ECs) with clear cost and delivery impact.
      • Maintain timely budget updates based on the scope of work changes, optimizing project execution improvements.
      • Manage costs and budget following cost targets.
      • Time management (schedule): define and manage a detailed execution-timing plan, including critical path timing, mitigation timing plans, and follow-up.
      • Risk management: identify risks and opportunities and develop and manage risk mitigation plans and action plans.
      • Manage/coordinate the project team, including Project Engineers, Technical Leaders, Supply Chain Leaders, Site Managers, and other team members, for an effective management of the customer, technical reviews, buyoffs, procurement process and site activities.
      • Team building and coaching: facilitate and develop a productive and cohesive project team, managing conflict resolution.
      • Manage the communication with customers.
      • Pursue customer satisfaction
      • Manage accounts receivable related to project and minimize overdue.
      • Manage and maintain project documentation.

        Automation Systems, Body Assembly, Powertrain Assembly
      • Languages: a s econd language is highly appreciated.
