What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee project management staff and ensure achievement of contractual deliverables
- Track project performance, monitoring timelines, budgets, and subcontractor performance
- Act as the main point of contact between field staff and headquarters divisions
- Draft programmatic documents and reports, and support operational and logistical needs
- Participate in new business development efforts and lead reconnaissance trips for proposals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in International Development with 8 years of relevant work experience
- Proven experience managing USAID-funded programs valued at $5-10 million/year
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with fluency in French
- Experience managing multiple direct reports for at least one year
- Willingness to travel internationally for up to 8 weeks per year
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- MBA or similar degree in a relevant field
- Fluency in Spanish is desired
- Previous experience integrating cross-cutting concepts in project implementation
- Familiarity with USG business development initiatives and proposal writing
- Expertise in MS Office, particularly strong Excel skills
