LOCATIONS: Leeds / Bristol / Halifax / London

      HOURS: Full-Time

      About This Opportunity

Across the Customer Propositions team, we have four fantastic opportunities to drive our customer agenda. We’re on the lookout for customer obsessed and delivery driven leaders of a squad who design, deliver, and run propositions… collaborators who seek to solve for key customer ‘jobs to be done’ whilst achieving commercial objectives for the group.

We’re heavily investing in our Customer Propositions team, who will design how we show up in market, offer our best to customers, and deliver valuable experiences which people use, love, and want more of. We have four customer propositions teams spanning across 1) Behaviour, Value, Rewards and Loyalty 2) Life-Events 3) Ecosystems and 4) Beyond Financial Services.

We're more than a bank, we'll redefine our relationships with our customers and help them lead better lives. Help us find opportunities to meet those unmet needs and build innovative propositions. We need to innovate and explore new ways of delighting customers - the obvious has been done. If you can find the hidden insight, the opportunities hiding under our noses, the counterintuitive value - come join us. We'll not restrict ourselves to those from the Financial Services sector - we want those comfortable to fail fast, open to learn, and willing to shape the future of banking.

At Lloyds Banking Group, culture is key. So we want someone who is open, collaborative, and understands the org chart is not the be all and end all. We’re after someone who has enough drive to make a difference, enough insight to influence, and enough smiles to bring people with them and have fun on the way. Are you a natural connector, a real team player, a person who unblocks blockers getting in the way of great customer experiences? Do you want to work with people that are diverse, driven, and different? If the answer is ‘yes’, you might be who we’re looking for.

      The Role:

In this role you'll lead a squad within one of the Customer Propositions teams charged with designing, delivering, and running a customer proposition. You’ll lead ongoing value creation for customers through driving an incremental value release roadmap. You’ll work with teams across the organisation, both platform and non-platform, to deliver collaboratively through an agile operating model.

      • Oversight of a dynamic customer proposition which solves for prioritised customer ‘jobs to be done’ and unmet needs

      • Leads on proposition and service design to solve for functional, societal, and emotional customer jobs whilst delivering commercial value for the Group

      • Owns a full suite of experiments to validate proposition hypotheses, providing fast learning, shaping design, and enabling delivery at pace

      • Accountable for proposition delivery and relationship lead for all partners across platforms, non-platform teams and Fintech support

      • Leads an agile operating model to deliver the service and proposition design objectives through Group (and external) partnerships

      • Ownership of the value-release roadmap for customers aligned to the proposition delivery catering for customer needs, outcomes, and experiences

      • Lead for propositional performance against direct and indirect measures which contribute to customer and commercial performance outcomes

      • Leads the enduring management of propositions ensuring ongoing maintenance, continuous optimisation and delivering enhancements as necessary

      What You’ll Need

      • Proposition Design – experience and good knowledge across propositions, products, channel distribution and marketing to design and deliver market-leading propositions which solve for unmet customer needs

      • Delivery – strong change leader connecting numerous teams both in and outside of the organisation to deliver large-scale, complex value releases to our customers through agile management

      • Performance – strong experience in driving teams to deliver a continuous and incremental value release roadmap alongside the maintenance, optimisation, and enhancement of propositions on an enduring basis

      • Expert Prioritisation – capable of responding to competing priorities, challenges, and conflicts to continuously re-adjust plans, focus areas and resourcing requirements

      • Leadership – people-first leader who supports the development of small but specialist resource to design, deliver and run propositions to achieve commercial and customer objectives coaching in complex and scaled agile practices
