What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Execute daily purchasing tasks, including order placement, tracking, and inventory management
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, track shipments, and resolve issues
- Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers and enhance direct sourcing activities
- Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Prepare and present detailed reports on purchasing activities and market trends to senior management

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, supply chain, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant purchasing experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret large datasets
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL
- Knowledge of procurement strategies and supplier management

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Primary pharmaceutical distribution experience is highly encouraged
- Excellent financial modeling skills with attention to detail
- Experience with SAP, SQL, Tableau, PBI, or Oracle
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders across various levels of the organization
