Position Summary

Meritain Health Senior Quality Consultant will be responsible for the following:

• Responding to inquiries and audits from regulatory agencies as it pertains to self-funded health plans.
• Monitor compliance activities to identify trends.
• Review/monitor/respond to NQTL analysis intake requests.
• Assume other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

• Superior critical thinking skills.
• Quickly grasp business concepts, objectives, and strategies
• Well organized; able to manage simultaneous tasks while meeting deadlines within a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Hybrid required for those that are within 30miles of an office location
• Compliance, quality and/or regulatory experience.
• 3+ years of insurance industry experience.
• Must have excellent written skills.
• Collaborate effectively and professionally within internal and external partners.
• Able to concisely summarize large amounts of information and data and tailor the summary to the audience.
• Experience managing simultaneous projects with multiple deliverables.
• Strong MS Office skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of self-funded health plans and Third-Party Administrators.
• Understanding of legal requirements.
• Experience with or understanding Mental Health Parity.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
