- BSC Honours Diagnostic Radiographer / DCR or equivalent (Grade 2.2 or above only)
- HPC registration (must be obtained prior to commencement of employment)
- Previous experience working as a radiographer in the UK Previous experience working in a Radiology Department at ESHT
- Must have substantial clinical experience at Band 5, or already be employed at Band 6 in a similar role
- Experience of supervising junior staff
- Evidence of leadership in supplementary role (i.e. student link, H&S, audit lead etc.)
- General Radiography
- Team working within multi-disciplinary setting
- Good written skills
- Performing clinical audit
- Managing clinical lists
- Demonstrates attention to detail and professional attitude towards completion of application form
- Experience in Radiation Protection supervisory role

Job summary
Join us at Hastings, in 1066 country. Home to some of Sussex's finest coast and countryside. We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 6 radiographer to join our expanding Department of Radiology at the Conquest Hospital Hastings.
This is a clinical role with an emphasis on General and Trauma Radiography so the right candidate will requirerelevant experience.
Previous experience working as a radiographer in the UK or working in a Radiology Department at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust will be an advantage.
Main duties of the job
Shift duties to provide a comprehensive 24 hour, 365 day a year servicein Trauma and General Radiographyare an essential part of this role. You should be able to work a variety of shifts in order to meet this commitment together with out of hours working.
The department is home to a Siemens Artis Zee Interventional Suite, Phillips Azurion Cardiac, Siemens Artis Zee Multipurpose, Two Toshiba SP and an Aquilion ONE CT Scanner, Agfa Automated DR600 X-ray, GE Senographe Pristina and two Siemens Aera 1.5 MRI Scanners.
Additional duties include supervision of junior staff, clinical audit, vetting and justification overview, as well as being an independent practitioner.
The department actively supports internal training in speciality modalities to include Cardiac and Interventional Radiography, CT and MR scanning. External training is supported in Medical Ultrasound, Radiographer reporting and Mammography.
