Job Description

Why join us
As a Recruiter for our Store Support Centre (our corporate and commercial roles), you will be part of a team dedicated to creating engaging recruitment experiences and managing the recruitment activity across various locations. If you are passionate about recruitment, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and believe in providing an excellent candidate experience then this is a role where you will make an impact.
What you'll do
You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, ensuring that we find, engage, and hire the right talent across multiple business areas and disciplines. Your main focus will be to source quality and diverse, passive candidates through various channels, such as our CRM, Talent Insight Tools, LinkedIn, job boards, marketplaces, and social media platforms. Working closely with our recruitment operation teams, you will organise both in-person and virtual recruitment events, building strong networks and talent pipelines. Attending industry events and meet-ups will also be part of your role, keeping you up to date with the candidate market and generating interest in our brands. In addition, you will contribute to reducing the cost and time per hire by converting passive candidates into successful hires, while ensuring a great candidate experience and maintaining a positive employer brand. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and continuously improving sourcing processes through sharing best practices will be key to your success.
Who you are
You will create engaging recruitment experiences for all our Store Support Centre recruitment activity across business units and locations across the Sainsbury's brands. Your responsibilities will include end-to-end vacancy management for external vacancies from a mid to senior level. This will involve conducting vacancy briefings, developing attraction strategies, sourcing and screening candidates, and managing the offer process. You will proactively manage candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive employer brand is conveyed and strengthening the candidate experience.
Additionally, you will build suitable and diverse talent pools by ensuring accurate job descriptions and adverts and utilising various media platforms. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and other stakeholders, providing them with a positive experience and supporting them in hiring the best candidates. As a knowledgeable recruitment professional, you demonstrate an understanding of recruitment best practices and utilise resourcing technologies and social networking to source and engage candidates. Your judgement, collaboration skills, and passion for diversity and inclusion will contribute to your success in this role.
