What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and compile Medicare and Medicaid cost reports
- Oversee monthly contractual allowance and reserve analysis for payers
- Assist in annual budget preparation for third-party contractual allowances
- Perform variance analysis of third-party liability
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare finance in a reimbursement environment
- Experience with financial statements, cost report preparation, and month-end contractual tasks
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Great Plains, Management Reporter, and FRX Forecaster
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in running ad-hoc reports
- Medicare and Medicaid cost report experience
- Knowledge of general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close process
- Awareness of business trends and ability to research and evaluate information
- Ability to provide culturally inclusive care in a diverse community setting
