What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as an experienced contributor within a team, developing leadership and mentoring skills with minimal oversight
- Support the program's long-term goals by contributing to the development of the research strategy
- Plan, conduct, analyze, and share knowledge from research based on team questions and goals
- Influence and communicate research strategy while building relationships with stakeholders
- Coach and mentor researchers, providing actionable feedback for professional growth

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience
- Ability to commute to the Baltimore area
- 5+ years of experience conducting generative and/or primary research studies, analyzing findings, and making recommendations
- 2+ years of experience conducting evaluative research/usability testing for graphical user interfaces
- Technically curious with experience collaborating with software developers

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in Agile environments
- Experience with contextual inquiry/direct observation
- Skilled in creating compelling visual artifacts using tools like Mural or Miro (e.g., user journey maps, service blueprints)
