What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze trends to identify variances and develop reports to assess these variances
- Develop strategic recommendations to monitor areas of opportunity and risk
- Assist in creating recurring and ad-hoc reports for management
- Collaborate with management and subject matter experts to analyze healthcare data related to patient billing and claims
- Participate in meetings to track system updates and support revenue cycle requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related major preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an analyst (data, financial business, or related) required
- Minimum of 5 years of integrated healthcare revenue cycle experience, including charging, coding, and claims
- Epic certification in a revenue cycle application (ADT/Prelude, Cadence, Resolute PB or HB) preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in revenue integrity, remittance/payment posting, and insurance or self-pay collections
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply revenue cycle operational knowledge
