What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close within assigned territories
- Develop new agent, broker, and consultant relationships in the designated area
- Educate brokers through proactive meetings, presentations, and phone outreach
- Present the employer's value proposition to brokers and clients to enhance quoting activity
- Manage sales processes and metrics utilizing the employer's CRM systems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4 years of outside sales experience in healthcare or employee benefits
- Proven track record of developing a sales territory and meeting sales metrics
- Experience in forming new client/customer relationships through various outreach methods
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and current auto insurance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Extensive knowledge of the employee benefits industry and pre-existing broker relationships
- Strong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to handle a large volume of work with conflicting priorities
- Strong research and analytical skills
